| Step | What happened |
|---|---|
| 1. You nominated | 1,000+ nominations over seven weeks. Self-nominations and peer nominations counted the same. |
| 2. You voted | 42,000+ votes, with one ballot per member in each category. The votes set the shortlist. |
| 3. They won | 100 winners, ten per category, announced October 6. |
In their own words, the winners are "the best women, non binary, and femme identifying gamers, chosen by their own not by us."

Our Take
At What If Visions, we care about the people who make gaming feel like a community, and that's exactly what these awards are about. This isn't a list of the biggest follower counts. It's moderators who keep chats safe, teachers turning games into careers, students building clubs on campus, cosplayers, esports pros and streamers who built their own corners of the internet.
What we love most is how the winners were chosen. More than 42,000 votes from the community itself means every one of these 100 spots was earned from the people who know them best.
If you're looking for new creators to follow, this list is a great place to start. Pick a category, look a few of them up and show them some love.
Congratulations to all 100 winners. 🏆
